These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of The Copy Machine Claude Skill ("the Product"). By purchasing or using the Product, you agree to these Terms.
1. What You're Buying
The Copy Machine is a Claude Skill — a collection of markdown instruction files designed to be used with Anthropic's Claude AI. The Product includes:
- The main SKILL.md routing file
- Framework files (copywriting structures)
- Tone files (voice and style guides)
- Channel files (format specifications)
You're purchasing a license to use these files, not the underlying copywriting methodology or exclusive rights to the concepts.
2. License Grant
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to:
- Use The Copy Machine for your own projects (personal or commercial)
- Use The Copy Machine to create copy for clients
- Modify the files for your own use
What You Cannot Do
- Resell or redistribute the Product files (modified or unmodified)
- Share your purchase with others who haven't bought their own license
- Include the Product in another product for sale (templates, courses, etc.)
- Claim authorship of the underlying methodology
One purchase = one user. If your team needs access, each member needs their own license.
3. Requirements
To use The Copy Machine, you need:
- Access to Anthropic's Claude (Claude.ai account or API access)
- The ability to add custom instructions or skills to Claude
We don't provide Claude access. Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic's terms of service.
4. Output Ownership
The copy you generate using The Copy Machine belongs to you. We claim no rights to your outputs. Use the generated copy however you want — for your sites, your clients, your projects.
Note: Your use of Claude-generated content may also be subject to Anthropic's terms regarding AI-generated output.
5. No Warranty
The Product is provided "as is." We make no guarantees that:
- The copy generated will achieve specific conversion rates or results
- The Product will work with future versions of Claude
- The methodology will be suitable for every use case
Copywriting results depend on many factors beyond the frameworks we provide: your product, market, audience, pricing, design, and more. The Copy Machine is a tool, not a guarantee.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Product
- We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We're not liable for lost profits, business interruption, or data loss
7. Refunds
All sales are final. See our Refund Policy for details and limited exceptions.
8. Updates
We may release updates to the Product. Purchases include access to updates at our discretion. We're not obligated to provide updates, and updates may change the Product's functionality.
9. Third-Party Services
The Product is designed to work with Anthropic's Claude. We're not affiliated with Anthropic. Changes to Claude's functionality, pricing, or availability are outside our control and don't entitle you to a refund.
10. Termination
Your license continues as long as you comply with these Terms. If you violate these Terms (especially the redistribution restrictions), your license terminates immediately. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for violations.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree with updated Terms, stop using the Product.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the seller is located. Any disputes will be resolved in courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Product.
